Biography:
Dr. Aravindh Sekar is a scholar-practitioner specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Supply
Chain Innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems with a concentration in Analytics and
Decision Support and has over 15 years of experience as a Supply Chain Solutions Architect. Dr. Sekar’s
research advances the Strategic-Decentralized Resilience Theory (SDRT), a novel framework that
integrates AI and Blockchain to strengthen organizational adaptability, transparency, and data-driven
resilience. His work bridges academia and practice, offering frameworks for sustainable digital
transformation in global supply chains. He has presented and published in leading Information Systems
and technology management venues, including AMCIS, MWAIS, HICSS, and IACIS, and actively
contributes to research on Reinforcement Learning and AI-driven decision systems.
