Biography:
Dr. Tohamy is a leading expert in cellulose chemistry and utilizes her expertise to tackle sustainability challenges. She earned her PhD in organic chemistry (2020) from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt, focusing on creating useful carbon materials from agricultural waste. Currently at the National Research Center, She leverages her knowledge of nanomaterials, hydrogels, and drug delivery to develop solutions for water treatment, waste detection, and pharmaceutical applications. Her research spans diverse areas like cellulose technology, recycling, kinetics, thermal analysis, and sensor development.
