Biography:
Luciano Rebouças holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Institute of Systems and Robotics, University of Coimbra, Portugal. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Institute of Computing, UFBA, and leads the Intelligent Vision Research Laboratory. He is an associate editor of Springer Computational Statistics and has over 100 published articles in computer vision and machine learning conferences and journals. With over 10 years of research in medical imaging, his expertise spans physiotherapy, dentistry, and pathology.
