Biography:
Mr. Mohan Krishna is a dedicated PhD candidate with a robust background in Applied AI and HCI. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Computer Science at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where he is an active member of the Web Science and Digital Libraries (WS-DL) research group. He is dedicated to developing accessible technology for visually impaired individuals, spanning various domains including NLP, computer vision, human-computer interaction, accessibility, usability, and Generative AI.He, holding bachelor's and master's degrees in Information Technology and Computer Science, specializes in designing, developing, and optimizing AI models. His impactful work has led to patents and publications in esteemed conferences such as EICS2023, IUI 2023, CHIIR 2023, Hypertext 2022, JCDL 2023, IRI 2023, ASEM2023, and many more. During his academic journey, he worked at HP, enhancing printer intelligence, worked on NLP research at ISG Information Services Group in Stamford, USA, and worked on digital projects at P&G in Europe, focusing on IoT and data analysis. Passionate about accessibility, he leverages his skills in computer vision and machine learning.
Additionally, he has been nominated and accepted as a full-time member of the prestigious Scientific research honor society Sigma XI, recognizing his achievements and contributions to research.
