Biography:
Dr. Juan Terven is a Research Professor at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) in Mexico, specializing in artificial. He holds a degree in electronic engineering, a master’s degree in computer science, and a PhD in computer vision. In 2013, he was a visiting student at MIT, and in 2014, he interned at Microsoft Research. He has also worked as a Research Scientist for eight years at AiFi, a Silicon Valley-based company that specializes in developing spatial AI for a frictionless checkout experience. He has co-authored approximately 30 articles published in prestigious journals and conferences, and he holds 10 U.S. patents.
