Biography:
Prof. Laura-Nicoleta Ivanciu has completed her PhD in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering in 2014, at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Her research interests include integrating Artificial Intelligence techniques in the design and implementation of monitoring, surveillance and prediction systems. Currently, she is working on the development of a system that estimates the focus level based on multimodal sensor fusion. The results of her work have been published in journals and presented at conferences in the field.
