Biography:
Dr. Lina Bariah, a senior IEEE member, is an AI scientist specializing in generative AI for telecommunications. As an Adjunct Professor at Khalifa University, she advances cutting-edge research and development in AI, focusing on TelecomGPT and its applications in next-generation networks. Previously, She served as Lead AI Scientist at Open Innovation AI, where she led the integration of generative AI into telecom solutions. Named among Stanford’s Top 2% Scientists in Networking and Telecommunications for 2024, she has over 80 research publications and significant contributions to AI and telecom fields. She is currently serving as Editor for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and as Industry Chair for the IEEE Emerging Technology Initiative on Large Generative AI Models.
