Biography:
Dr. Alhussein received his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, in 2020, his master of applied science (M.A.Sc.) degree in engineering science from Simon Fraser University, Canada, in 2015. Since Fall 2023, he has been working as an assistant professor with the computer science department at Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates. Prior to joining Khalifa University. He worked as a senior research engineer with the advanced networking team at Huawei Technologies Canada in Ottawa, from 2020 to 2023. His research interests include network automation, network resource management and optimization, AI and networking, and wireless networks.
