Biography:
Dong Huang received the B.S. degree in computer science in 2009 from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. He received the M.Sc. degree in computer science in 2011 and the Ph.D. degree in computer science in 2015, both from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China. He joined South China Agricultural University in 2015, where he is currently the Deputy Dean and an Associate Professor with the College of Mathematics and Informatics. From July 2017 to July 2018, he was a visiting fellow with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research interests include data mining and machine learning. He has published more than 90 papers in international journals and conferences, such as IEEE TKDE, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TIP, ACM TKDD, SIGKDD, and AAAI. He was the recipient of the 2020 ACM Guangzhou Rising Star Award.
