Biography:
Dr. Shaikha Abdulatif Mubarak AlSanad is a Program Manager and Senior Research Scientist at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), where she leads the Building and Infrastructure Program. With over 20 years of experience in civil engineering and infrastructure research, her expertise includes infrastructure resilience, structural health monitoring, risk and reliability engineering, sustainable infrastructure, and project management. She leads strategic national projects on structural optimization, infrastructure risk assessment, and sustainable asset management. Dr. AlSanad has published extensively in international journals and conferences and has organized numerous scientific events. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK, and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate Value Specialist (AVS), and ISO 31000 Risk Management professional.
