Biography:
Jun Jian got his BS in 1998 and MS in 2001 from the Department of Earth and Space Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China. In 2007, he got a doctoral degree from the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Georgia Institute of Technology in USA. In 2010 he returned to China and served in Navigation College, Dalian Maritime University. Currently, Professor Jun Jian is working on applying AI technology to Marine Meteorology and medium-range tropical convective system forecasting.
